Located at Mile 1.5 on the Alaska Highway, Mile "0" features a variety of sites complete with all your RV and camping needs.

Stay under a canopy of beautiful trees adjacent to the Walter Wright Pioneer Village, Rotary Rec Park, and the Dawson Creek Golf Club.

Pioneer Village & Mist Park

Pioneer Village

 

Walter Wright Pioneer Village is a heritage site which explores the history of the early pioneers who settled in the area of Dawson Creek, up to the Alaska Highway construction period.


The village is set up like an actual town, complete with a general store, churches and a schoolhouse.

Garden

 

Located in the Village near the church at the far end of the street is a large collection of historic farming equipment and a garden.


The small flower garden is comprised of eleven themed gardens and a memorial rose garden. There is a small walking path through the gardens and a sitting bench at the entrance.

Mile 0 Mist Park
Open June 15th - Sept Long weekend

The Rec Park provides a full day of activities. Families, couples and children arrive under sunny skies to play, lounge in the shade under the looming trees, enjoy a picnic and watch their children laugh while playing in the playground.

This place is great. The best. We were able to go see a bunch of old automobile's.. old buildings and we all had a wonderful time right here. I hope we'll be back!
